Gloria Cassidy is a mixed media artist living in Santa Clarita who loves the process of storytelling. A native of Southern California, her childhood was surrounded by the opportunity and encouragement to create. As a young adult, Gloria realized that artistic expression was her passion. After many years spent raising a family, she began making art full-time. Since 2010 she has been producing drawings, paintings, collages, and fiber art.

“Currently (2021) I’m obsessed with collaging. Using paint and ink, I first create mono-printed papers to be used throughout my work. Spontaneously and thoughtfully each piece is created using repetition, simple shapes, colors, and symbols, representing personal and universal themes. Inspired by nature, family, and my reverence for the human condition the intention of my work will hopefully lead the viewer to explore the depths of their own stories.”
